On 17 December 2024, Varsztatovnia hosted an online discussion as part of the INSPIRE project, which promotes emotional well-being and intercultural dialogue through the arts. The event focused on the mental health of refugees from Ukraine and ways to support recovery and integration. Moderated by Michalina Tańska, a psychologist and influencer dedicated to mental health and Ukrainian aid, it featured Krzysztof Piersa, a psychotherapist, and Ukrainian guests Yuliia Savytska and Mariia Bakumenko, who shared their personal experiences of displacement and resilience. The discussion explored the challenges of mental health during displacement and the importance of creating inclusive, supportive spaces. It reinforced the INSPIRE project’s goals of reducing stigma, fostering inclusivity, and using dialogue and the arts as tools for healing and community building.
